Description
Yorkville Sound NX10C-2 Overview
Audio engineers, touring musicians, and rental companies in need of a compact, active speaker will be impressed with the Yorkville NX10C-2, a truly unique and innovative powered speaker with a “through hole” design that allows multiple speakers to be mounted on a single speaker stand. The NX10C-2 sports a bi-amplifier with 1200W of peak power output, which drives the 10/1″ coaxial driver to provide a full-range output with plenty of volume.
The rear panel features two combo XLR-1/4″ inputs for mic and line, respectively. A 3.5mm TRS line input is available for connecting portable playback devices, while an XLR output is available for daisy-chaining audio to additional speakers. An EQ knob boosts the bass and treble when turned clockwise, while turning counterclockwise will boost high-frequency content only. The handle on the rear of the unit doubles as a tilt bar, allowing the speaker to be used as a wide-coverage floor monitor or center fill cabinet.

EQ Control This control affects all the sound coming out of a particular NX10C-2 enclosure. Turning the control counterclockwise will increase the level of the bass and the treble together in order to provide a hi-fi contour for playback sources. Turning the control clockwise increases the high-frequency content. This can come in handy when multiple NX10C-2’s are arrayed together. Setting the control to the 12:00 position will provide flat response. This control does not affect the sound at the Mix Out. In a system with multiple cabinets, it will be necessary to adjust the EQ control on all individual enclosures. UPC: 840402046899
